Asociatia Lumea lui Pinocchio (Panciu, Romania) is pleased to announce that an international meeting will be hosted in the period 20th – 22nd October 2016. The meeting will involve European partners active in the youth field, the association collaborates with thanks to a EU financial support.
The meeting will be an enriching occasion of encounter, exchange and confrontation on important themes like youth voluntarism and solidarity, active citizenship and international mobility, interculture and construction of an equal and united Europe.
The meeting will take place in Focsani and the participants will have the possibility of discussing together thanks to work groups, “B2B” meetings, exchanges among youth workers, witnesses of young volunteers. On Friday, 21st October 2016, a field visit to the Daily Socio-Educational Centre Pinocchio in Panciu will be organized; on this occasion, European partners will meet the local staff of the Centre Pinocchio, exchange experiences and good practices about the work with children and youngsters with fewer opportunities from the social and educational point of view.
The participants will be representatives of 4 European organizations: Bulgarian Youth Forum from Bulgaria, Aktiv Európai Fiatakolért Egyesület from Hungary, Associazione Bambini in Romania from Italy and Young Leaders CZ from Czech Republic.
Asociatia Lumea lui Pinocchio is the coordinator of a network of 16 associations from different Member Countries; these partners, duirng the year 2016, collaborated for the realization of a wide range of proposals and activities targeted at youth: European Voluntary Service projects in Romania and in other countries, youth exchanges, solidarity workcamps, workshops in local schools about Education to Solidarity, training courses for youth workers and volunteers, videoconferences and a Photo Contest open to European volunteers.
The collaboration between Asociatia Lumea lui Pinocchio and other youth organizations has been possible thanks to the support of the Erasmus+, Key Action 3 – Civil Society Cooperation in the field of Youth.
